Prior to joining Narrative, Joanna spent her formative advertising years in some of the regionâ€™s top agencies. At Admast Advertising, she spent 12 years developing the companyâ€™s media department, planning and buying for accounts such as Co-operative Food, Anglia Regional Co-op, Hilco and East of England Co-op. At Robson Brown, Joanna honed her account management skills, working on demanding, multi-faceted accounts including the University of Sunderland and Sunderland Housing Group (now Gentoo).
Here at Narrative, Joanna heads up our media department, planning and buying both B2B and B2C campaigns across traditional, social and digital media. She leads on key accounts such as University of Cumbria, York College, Redcar and Cleveland College, North East LEP, Vet Direct and Eleven Arches (Kynren).
Joanna is a true â€œpeople personâ€ and firmly believes that building relationships is the key to success in advertising, whether they be with clients, suppliers or colleagues. Her negotiation and organisational skills are renowned in the industry, and are combined with an honest, no-nonsense approach to both life and work.
Joanna says that if her life were a story it would be â€œA Tale of Two Citiesâ€ due to the fact that she is a Mackem who has married a Geordie!
