Earlier this year, USL (Utilities Smart Limited) approached Narrative to see if we could provide general marketing communications support. On examining their activity and offer in the marketplace, we ascertained that before any work began on promoting the business, their brand needed some TLC.
USL provides energy brokerage and procurement; a very competitive sector. With a high volume of leads generated online, we quickly ascertained that their name,USL, was far too generic to make an impact in this crowded digital marketplace. And with tough competition from a range of huge multi-national competitors, creating a point of difference would be absolutely essential to their success.
We developed the name based on the idea of energy being ‘juice’ and revisited the spelling to give a unique name. A bright and bold identity was created to help bring Joose to life and set it apart from their competitors. This identity helps communicate the positive energy and a sense of fun that Joose offers.
We worked with the Joose team to develop their brand and create a suite of customer facing literature both on and offline.
