Having started work with the MAT (Multi Academy Trust) when it was a group of just three schools, the Narrative team has implemented a strategic communications campaign in order to help the trust achieve its desired growth, including public relations, internal communications, stakeholder engagement and social media management.
In addition to the reputation management carried out through the promotion of good news stories from the trust and schools, Narrative has also worked to establish CEO Nick Blackburn as a thought leader in primary education; penning articles for a selection of local and trade publications.
Also managing 13 social media channels on behalf of the Lingfield Education Trust and its schools, Narrative proactively searches for opportunities to comment on industry news – mainly via the MAT’s Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn pages – but also on behalf of individual schools where relevant.
Given the growth and subsequent changes which have taken place over the past year, the Narrative team has also played a pivotal role in the communication of key messages to staff, parents and external parties. This is particularly true when it comes to the opening of the Cambrai Community Primary School – a free school set to open in Catterick Garrison in September 2019.
Narrative hosted a series of stakeholder engagement events in order to address the need for a new school in the area and establish any concerns held by the local community.
The ongoing communication work carried out by the trust has also led to several opportunities to work on a diverse range of design projects – from putting together branded collateral for trade shows to creating animated schools mascots.
